Meet The Dentist

Dr. Eric Tang grew up in Calgary – in the very communities that neighbour Carrington! He obtained his Bachelor’s of Medical Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Alberta.

Dr. Tang has been practicing dentistry in Calgary since 2011 and offers comprehensive dental care for families – from orthodontic treatment for our younger patients to implants and tooth replacement for those with more complex needs. He is passionate about educating his patients on prevention, and loves to see returning patients cavity free! His compassion and gentle touch has helped many patients with dental anxiety overcome their fears and reclaim their oral health.

Dr. Tang was awarded Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

When he’s not at the office, you’ll probably find him chasing down his kids at the Carrington Playground. He also loves to travel and explore new cultures and foods. Some of his favourite destinations include Japan, Germany (Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch), Antarctica and Vietnam. He has participated in dental missions to rural Peru and Nepal. Last but not least, he is a lifelong Manchester United Fan (Glory Glory Man Utd!).
