Dr. Kelsey Morhun

DMD

Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Dr. Kelsey Morhun moved to Kelowna with her family in 2009. She completed three years of a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at UBC Okanagan before being accepted into the Doctor of Dental Medicine program at UBC in Vancouver. After graduation, Kelsey returned to Kelowna to practice dentistry in her hometown. Now, she is excited to bring her passion for dental care to Calgary as a member of the Carrington Dental team.

During her studies, Kelsey received several awards, including the American College of Dentists (BC Section) Award in Ethics and Professionalism, the Dental Undergraduate Society Award, the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics, and the Thompson Okanagan Dental Society Scholarship. In her final year, she participated in the UBC Student Mentor Program, where she supervised and mentored younger colleagues.

Kelsey is passionate about helping others and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients. She is interested in all aspects of general dentistry, particularly working with children and performing oral surgery. She has volunteered at Kelowna’s Gospel Mission Dental Clinic since her undergraduate studies and is excited to continue serving the community in her new home in Calgary.

When she’s not in the clinic, Kelsey enjoys staying active at the gym and exploring the outdoors, whether biking through trails, hiking up mountains, or hitting the golf course. She also loves camping, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family.
